Making the Journey easier

The journey is far easier if your backpack isn't full of rocks!

  2. I'm a big Star Trek fan. Here's one from Captain Jean Luc Picard:

Time is a companion that goes with us on a journey. It reminds us to cherish each moment, because it will never come again. What we leave behind is not as important as how we have lived.

  3. Dear Gloria,
That is a wonderful and true quote. I look at it this way,
if I walk with a few(or a lot) good friends, it doesn't matter if
my journey is only a 100 miles. On the other hand, If my journey
is a 1000 miles and I walk it alone I may as well sit down and
forger about the journey all together. Friends are the cherry on
top of the sweet pie called life. Thanks for sharing that Gloria!

  4. I love that quote! some people are so concerned
with the legacy they leave their loved ones
and yes that is important, but I believe that it
is more important to known for my love than for
anything else. What better than that can we leave behind?

    1. I prefer just one or two very special friends than lots of friends I don't really know all that well. I am blessed with several very close friends I have known for decades and picked up a few more along the way (like YOU). These are my forever friends. I wouldn't trade them for anything. I thank God for putting them in my life.
