Thank you, Christy. I'm been through a lot of medical crisis' in the last few years. I can tell you and all my fellow Daughters of the King that not once have I been disappointed in how the Lord has helped me through all of it. The more that happens, the more mercy and grace was extended to me by Jesus. I am blessed to be alive. I'm also grateful for all the prayers too. It really makes a difference. Sometimes I think it is harder for my husband, Steve, to watch me go through all of this than it is for me to experience it. He is my full-time caregiver, day and night. Sometimes people forget all about him. He is the one who has to run around taking care of details and then he goes home at night exhausted and nervous. If you know someone who takes care of a sick or disabled person, send them a card, offer to help in some way, go visit, do something that lets them know they are not forgotten. Maybe they need someone to talk to now and then or a shoulder to cry on. I can tell you that my illness scares a lot of people. But, God has his hand on me every day of my life. I wouldn't still be here if it was not for God breathing another day of life into me.
DeleteBTW....sorry to have scared you, dear HisDaughter. I'll try not to turn purple anymore. But, I'm glad you were able to help Steve during a very upsetting and scary time for him in May. Oh boy! Well, the list could go on cuz I scared you in February too, didn't I?
