Bended Knees still bring God's Power

Recently it seems that every where I go I hear  people say, "God doesn't perform miracles anymore, miracles ended with the Old Testament!" Well, please excuse me while I say "bologna!" yes, bologna! I believe God still performs miracles today, not only because I have witnessed them but also because His Word tells me that He does. The Word of God says that He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow(forever)! So, if that is the case then He must still be performing miracles today. Either way one looks at it,the main miracle we need to be concerned about in our modern times is the wonderful miracle of salvation! The miracle that comes through faith in Jesus Christ. One thing for sure, our nation needs a miracle to get back on the right track, back on it's feet. God still honors the bending of our knee, not to ask for a miracle, or desire, or need as much as to show HIm the honor and praise due Him. Thus, our bended knee becomes an act of faith!

  1. ah good, i figured out how to comment here! Hisdaughter, I love your post and it is so true. In this busy life it is so easy to just talk at the Lord and not to or with Him. Great reminder that bowing or bending the knee to the King is still important to Him and us even if it may not be to non believers or haters!

  4. it's easy to let ourselves get caught up with the busi-ness of life and forget that the most important things we can do are for the LORD. Nothing compares to that. Forgive me, Lord, for not making you #1 all the time.

Ah it is just that the heart that knows and cares where we are with Him that turns the eyes of God towards us I believe!
